VOICES OF AFRICA

Sat, November 1, 2008
Performances at 3pm, 5pm & 7pm
Tickets: $15

Voices of Africa (VOA) is a cross-cultural collaboration with Peace Corps Niger. The performances feature stories, poems and songs created by Nigerian young women and performed by New York City teenagers. All proceeds benefit the Young Girls Scholarship Program, which sends girls in Niger (ranked the poorest country in the world by the U.N.) to school. In 2007, VOA provided scholarships to 10 girls.  In 2008, our goal is to send 20 girls to school.

100% of Voices of Africa proceeds will be donated to the Young Girls' Scholarship Program.
