This year, the EstroGenius Festival is being held in two spaces. Cheryl is the director of one of those spaces, Stage Left Studios, as well as the producer of Solo Voce.
It’s October 1st, which means, in just five weeks, the EstroGenius Festival will be kicking off its 13th year in a new space (TBG Theatre) with a new schedule (in repertory for 9 performances) and with the entire festival happening under one roof (YAY Women In Motion!)
Just to give you an idea of what’s been going on, our Indiegogo campaign is still going strong (five days left); we are Tweeting away and updating the EstroGenius Festival Facebook page; and keeping our brand new website current. So, check in regularly as things develop at a breakneck speed around here.
This month on the blog, we’ll hear from the people behind the scenes of the festival. We talked to some of our staff volunteers to find out why they donate their time and expertise to the EstroGenius Festival. And what keeps so many of them coming back year after year? Not surprisingly, love and appreciation for each other and the craft is at the core of their commitment.
I am so thrilled to be in the rabbit hole with these amazingly fabulous EstroBabes. Please stay tuned on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and see who takes on the ESTRO 5. And because I can’t keep a secret, Jen Thatcher, our Executive Producer/Fearless Leader/Goddess, will be our first interview on Wednesday.
Many thanks to all of you who have been following us and joining in our Evolution.
